This was the second New Park beer of my visit, tasted right after Cloudburst. Like Cloudburst, I thought it was better than the IPAs from most of the local breweries but it was a little sweeter than Cloudburst and I didn't like it as well.

L - pours a pale lemon orange that glows on this dreary overcast day. Solid frothy head with sticky lacing.
S - crackery orange and honey. Malty and a bit dank. Sugary. Like lemon candy extract.
T - wildflower honey and biting hops that seem to stumble over themselves in their bitterness. Choppy. Underripe mango and candied lemon rind. Brewed with a boatload of oats so you get the raw, grainy "bitterness" from the steel cut variety. Finishes semi-dry. The hops and sugar are fighting each other for top dog!
F - soft and inviting. These guys really do mouthfeel well. Low carbonation and medium body. Helps along the sugariness without making it cloying.
O - another great brew from New Park. This one tests the earthy, herbal bitterness while still playing with candy sweetness.
