16oz can poured into a snifter.
A: Dull golden color with opaque haze. Awesome three finger tower of pillowy white head that retains very well. Lots of clumpy lacing.
S: Pulpy orange juice, lemon pith, white grapefruit. Lemon grass. Hints of pineapple and sweet bud. Doughy grain base with a dash of confectioners sugar.
T: Roughly Follows the nose. Orange juice up front, nice pineapple and star fruit tropical notes, little lemon pith and white grapefruit. Green and grassy with a slight oily spiciness, bud dankness and just a hint of pine resin. Only a faint brush of bitterness. Alcohol rides up a bit and comes to the forefront briefly. Doughy malt base that goes a little toasty. Shredded wheat. Star fruit, grass, and trailing hop oils on the finish.
M: Medium bodied. Filling in the mouth with a firm and fluffy feel. Fine-bubbled carbonation scrubs fairly aggressively and adds some crispness. Some alcohol warmth. Very, very mild hop astringency.
O: A decent double IPA in that hazy/New England style. The hop profile is very nice, but other aspects of the beer show a bit of roughness. The wheatiness of it feels just a bit coarse, and the little spike of alcohol is a noticeable distraction. There are plenty of competitors in the 8% range and above that are a lot more refined and drink more easily. Not a bad beer, but it does feel like it requires some polish.

16 oz. can. Hazy deep orange. Smells of orange juice and wheat. Tastes of orange juice and wheat as well. Sweet wheaty bread flavors also and a candied orange finish. Back end has a touch of earthy hops, but mostly sweetness lingers. A little booze. Big and sweet. It's fine, but it's kinda just another big sweet hazy orange juice DIPA.

Opaque orange-tan with a soft white head settling to a thin film and collar leaving droopy arms lace.
Aromas of pineapple explode out of the can. On the palate, a soft but firm fizz brings out biscuit and herbal spicy eucalyptic dankness, as the full body develops some papaya, mango and pineapple characteristics before the tingly semi-dry finish.

Pouring a cold 16 oz can into my snifter. Picked up the beer at the brewery a little bit ago.
The beer pours a hazy golden rod color with bleached white head foaming up about 1 cm on the pour and fading to a sturdy edge layer. There is some tight lattice on my glass as I swirl the beer and take a sip.
The aroma is very fruity with peach and mango heavy notes. Definitely a hop forward beer. But nothing bitter or sappy here. Booze is also hidden on the nose.
First sip reveals a smooth textured average body with fine and tingly carbonation. The physical traits drink pretty easily.
Flavor is what the nose predicts with lots of tropical fruit. Mango and peach and a bit of pineapple here. Only a little bit of a bitter bite on the finish, but the lingering flavor is sweet fruitiness. I dont get any hint of the ABV and the only malt note is a bit of balancing biscuit or cracker note.
Pretty solid NEIPA. Glad to have finally tried something from New Park.
Still hate their growler policy though.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a turbid orange with a thin layer of head. Tropical fruit aroma pineapple, mango, tangerine, guava, and grapefruit. The taste is just like the aroma. Pineapple, mango, grapefruit, guava, and peach. Alcohol burn finish with more pineapple. Heavy body with a dirty mouthfeel. Try this beer.

Good beer but very much trying to be Tree House or Trillium in "jucie/hoppy" taste, but the flavor isn't balanced enough to take this beer to the next level. This beer has the potential to be GREAT, but right now the flavors are a bit to disjunct. Fruit is too distinct and the hops are too strong.
Watch this brewery, they could blow up at any moment.
