Drank from a 1 pint can purchased at New Park Brewing, West Hartford, CT
Canned on 02/19/2020
Served in a Rastal Harmony stemless beer glass

Big thanks to my sister Vanessa for grabbing us a few cans of this.

Hazy, lemon yellow appearance. A thin, tiny bubbled film topped the liquid, but it quickly dissolved. No lacing whatsoever.

The aroma was really fruity and sweet. Mango was most prominent. Peach notes also came through pretty strong. Perhaps some apricot too. Bit of crisp wheatiness. There was a subtle, slightly musty, Pilsner malt quality as well. As the beer warmed, the peach presence intensified.

The flavor profile was nearly identical to the nose. Big ripe peach notes. Lots of juicy mango too. Tart and wheaty in the center. Touch of acidity and salinity on the back end. Some fresh pineapple was noticeable as well. The beer finished with a nice melding of fruity sweetness and lingering acidity.

Fantastic fluffy, medium bodied mouthfeel. The liquid contained a super fine and fairly zippy effervescence that turned frothy and slick on the palate.

Some of New Park’s Blender beers come off as thin and overly sweet, but this Mango Peach variant was terrific. I can imagine this being a perfect summertime crusher.

L - pours a thick hazy orange yellow. Decent head retention for a sour with bigger bubbles.

S - aromas of raw peach pit. Hits the gritty, grassy, bitter, earthy sensations of stringy mango and green banana.

T - Mango up front with a beautiful blend of peaches, pears, and apples. Nothing really dominates since both mango and peach are more passive flavors, but it's a soft, bright, vibrant package of restrained juiciness and balanced earthy fruitiness. Vague salinity wraps this beer up with a tight, tart dryness.

F - thick for 5%. Doesn't fall into the overcarbonated trap many Berliners do. Moderately lively carbonation keeps me coming back for more.

O - in typical New Park fashion, this beer nails the earthy, raw fruit flavors it guns for. Many beers offer passing tastes, but this one slaps you in the face with it. Like biting into a juicy mango slice, complete with that bitter, tangy, slightly tart hard piece from the pit you accidentally shaved off. Vivid.

while the mango is definitely a boisterous predominate flavor, it is beautifully complimented by creamy peaches, pear, blueberry and blackberry seeds, lychee, white grape, creamy grains, yogurt, mellow grassy and herbal green tea quality
