Pours an iridescent medium violet color, ample pink foam head that slowly recedes. Aroma of fresh blueberry purée with a touch of earthiness. Abundant blueberry flavor - just so good. Sweetness is perfect - just the right amount with a touch of tartness to finish. Carbonation adds to a creamy texture. Overall New Park has perfected the fruited Berliner Weiss, IMO. At 5% abv, the flavor is remarkable.

Drank on tap at New Park Brewing, West Hartford, CT
Served in a snifter
The cloudy, deep violet colored body was topped by a frothy, finger-tall, purple tinged crown that fell to a thin collar. Spotty streaks and drops of lacing stuck along the glass.
The nose was very subtle initially. Bit of crisp generic tartness. Not much else however. Later, the berry notes appeared. Dark berries specifically. Freshly juiced blackberries and/or blueberries came to mind. Nice amount of sweetness. There was a subtle berry seed-like presence too. Simple yet really pleasant.
The flavor was all dark berries. Big blueberry and/or blackberry notes. Like the nose, freshly puréed berries came to mind. Subtle wheaty and lemony tartness in the center. More berries and tartness on the back end and the finish. A touch of muskiness was noticeable here initially, but it dissipated pretty quickly.
Nice creamy, frothy, medium bodied mouthfeel. Soft and smooth on the palate. The liquid contained a fine, fairly subtle effervescence.
Like all the beers in New Park Brewing’s Blender Series, Blender Blueberry is all about the fruit. While not terribly complex, this was really enjoyable and super crushable. Be sure to give this plenty of time to warm up so that the nose cam match the intensity of the flavor profile.

L - pours a vibrant purple red. Neon juice. Dark pink-hued head that quickly dissipates into a ring of lacing. Looks like those frozen fruit juice popsicles we all love/hated as a kid.
S - tart blueberry tang. You know, those sour roulette bloobs that always catch you by surprise. Raspberries and funk. Lemon acidity.
T - sweet up front, like blueberry candy. Or blueberry soda, if you can remember such a thing from your childhood. As it settles, the raw purity of natural bloobs gently makes an appearance. Nicely done. The initial blue pump quickly falls off though, leading into classic funky weisse..ness.
F - a little on the thin side, but lively carbonation keeps the blue wave going.
O - seems a little one-dimensional, and lacks any meaningful substance, but it's still damn delicious so it's getting good marks. Not getting the tartness Blenders are famous for either.
