An IPA brewed with large amounts of flaked and malted wheat. Heavily hopped with Mosaic and Citra. Flavors of freshly cut mango, blueberries, papaya, and spruce tips

Very good head production, retention, and lacing. Body is a light lemon yellow hue, hazy but not pulpy, and nearly opaque.
Nose is sharply hoppy, with notes of lemon, papaya, mango, peach, and a bright green herbal accent.
Juicier and sweeter on the palate: peach, mango, papaya, berries, banana, cream; white sweet dough. Very little citrus, and not particularly herbal. It could actually use either (or both) of those hop notes for balance; combined with the fairly low bitterness, it drinks a little too sweet.
No hop burn or astringency; clean, soft, smooth, and nearly crushable.

Drank from a 1 pint can purchased at New Park Brewing, West Hartford, CT
Canned on 12/18/19
Served in a teku
Thanks to my dad for grabbing me a few cans of this.
Slightly hazy, pale straw yellow appearance. The body was topped by fluffy, finger-tall, bright white crown that quickly dropped to a medium collar. Craggily, odd shaped patches of lacing stuck along the glass.
The aroma was solid. Skunky weed-like notes were quite apparent initially. The Mosaic hops definitely made their presence known. After a few minutes, the weedy notes mellowed and citrus came forth. There was a sweet, honey malt character as well. Later, the cannabis reappeared and melded nicely with the citrus.
The flavor profile was a bit underwhelming. Citrus dominated. Orange and tangerine notes were most apparent. Slightly tart and tangy. Lemony in the center. White grapefruit came through on the back end and the finish. Notes of pithy grapefruit peel and pine sap lingered after the swallow. Hint of bitterness.
The mouthfeel was fairly thin for the style. A touch watery perhaps. The liquid contained a finely bubbled, fairly subtle effervescence. This reminded me of a beer that had been sitting out for a few hours.
New Park’s Double Fragment was one of the best hoppy beers I have ever drank, but Fragment was somewhat disappointing in nearly every aspect. I was shocked by how different these beers were.

Really great beer. Everything you would expect from one of the "big boy" breweries.

L - pours a dark, toasty orange. Slightly lightens to a yellowy haze as it settles. Sticky lacing clings for dear life.
S - massive aroma. I've got this thing 3 feet away and it's still all up in my biznass. Smells of sourdough, bready lemon, apricot, and honey. Dank and zesty, some green onions make an appearance aside pineapple creamsicle and lime.
T - smooth and oaty. Lime juice, honey crackers, and spicy grapefruit rind. Cool vanilla drapes a corner-rounding blanket on all the flavors and combines with the hops to give it a thick, saturated pungency. Lemon-lime citrus pith bitterness finishes off a vibrant and exciting beer.
F - cream. Low in carbonation, high in viscosity. Drinks more like a DIPA than an IPA.
O - one of the more impressive New Park beers I've had. Jam-packed full of flavor, every angle on this one is masterfully sculpted.
