Been visiting NewPark/TreeHouse/Trillium on a regular basis the last few years and I must say this is the best beer I’ve ever had. It is a shame they don’t make it more. It is a must try and must buy. Good luck getting it, once announced the cans sell out VERY quickly. I feel bad for saying how great it is, hopefully I can still get some once made again.

Drank from a 1 pint can purchased at New Park Brewing, West Hartford, CT
Canned on 01/26/22
Served in a tulip

Really impressive appearance. A tight, frothy, finger-tall, bright white crown topped the opaque, yellow ochre liquid and quickly dropped to a large dollop of foam and a thick, clingy collar. After every sip, a wall of spotty, streaky lacing coated the sides of the glass. The lacing stuck around until the drink’s end.

The nose was solid and became more complex with time. Big citrus presence. Juicy orange and tangerine notes were most apparent. Bit of ripe melon as well. Subtle peach notes were also detectable. Hint of mango too. As the beer sat, some dankness came forth.

The flavor profile was somewhat different from the aroma but perhaps even more impressive. Honeydew melon was most prominent here. Loads of citrus too. Nice melding of juicy orange and tangy tangerine notes. Big peach presence in the center. Grapefruit appeared on the back end and carried into the finish. Some rind-like pith and bitterness lingered after the swallow.

Terrific fluffy mouthfeel. Medium-light bodied for the style. The liquid contained a fine, zippy effervescence that turned frothy and smooth on the palate.

New Park Brewing make some of my favorite hazy IPAs on the planet, and Headband was another winner. Like many of their hoppy beers, this is comparable to some of the better offerings by Tree House, Trillium, etc.

Look...vibrant new england DIPA. Opaque yellow brown with no floaties . white fluffy top. Deep orange murk
Smell...Smell of melon, hop citrus. A full attachment of flowery scent hop tropical .
Taste...Melon pineapple with mango undercurrent , starfruit bitter, but only for a second. So understated at 9 percent with no hint of alcohol, this is an awesome beer from these guys Wow.
Feel...juice like and never heavy lacing dissipating off the glass in time. a nice fullness with a perfect amount of carbonation
Overall...I had the first three of these not as impressed as today but man.....this is so so good. New Park is just the killer for me being only 4 miles away...I love this. go get some

Can received in a Lif associated with Bif 13 from @roguer

Pint can poured into a handbell ipa glass

Brewers notes: An amped up version of one of our favorite double IPAs. We took the Headband grain bill and made it even bigger and full bodied while retaining its soft and malty characteristics, and hiding any heat. We also almost doubled one of our favorite hop blends to create absolutely massive flavors of fresh pineapple, papaya, guava, and freshly baked brioche.

Rich creamy one finger off white foam cap over a turbid orange haze bomb

Aroma is tropical fruits, pineapple, guava, papaya,

Taste is tropical fruits, guava, pineapple

Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy , hop taste, no bite

Great beer , recommended and repeatable

Thanks @roguer

Good head production and retention. Body is a super hazy (opaque) dark orange. For a haze bomb, it's a very attractive beer.

Super juicy nose, with a lightly dank and peppery note along with primarily tropical fruit.

Just as juicy on the palate. Mild dankness, peach, melon, and tangerine.

New Park has absolutely nailed the soft, fluffy NE IPA mouthfeel. Very little sting, but it's lively enough, and for 9% ABV, this is dangerously smooth and drinkable.

This is an absolute juice bomb. It's my first beer from New Park, but it won't be my last; I'm completely surprised at how well this beer is executed. My only complaint is that I would prefer much more bitterness, but that's personal preference; this beer is totally within reasonable expectations for a NE IIPA.
