Picked up a 32 oz growler at the ORB taproom 8-28-18 based on the recommendation of the bartender. Consumed 8-30-18.

Beer poured a cloudy golden-orange with a nice white head initially.

Nose is wonderful, is bursting with orange, passion fruit, and mango.

Taste is orange forward with some mango in the background. Finish is a mild rind hop bite.

Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and refreshing.

Overall a nice recommendation. It is not as fulfilling as Flat Light but still represents the NEIPA style well!

Great Drinking IPA from Outer Range. Citra, Waimea, Mosaic hop profile bursts with citrus and pineapple. Smooth, well balanced, refreshing, and crushable.

32oz growler from the brewery. Hmm, its not hazy at all. Light yellow and transparent. Aroma is heavy citra hops. Kind of a light IPA despite the 6.7 percent ABV.

From a fresh growler to a tulip. Reviewed from notes dated May 5, 2017.

A-The beer is kinda ugly, even for a hazy IPA. A short white head fades immediately to a fat collar that hangs around and leaves a little bit of lacing. The beer is murky and very light in color. It reminds me of a hefeweizen, but in a bad way. I guess I'll never see the visual appeal of these hazy IPAs....

S-The aroma is quite floral; almost perfume-like. That being said, there is a lot of fruit to go along with the floral note. I sniff melon, guava, orange, and a light pithy orange-rind bitterness.

T-The taste tracks the smell, but with more juice flavor and more citrus. I pick up lime, orange, passionfruit, some of the aforementioned floral notes, and a mild bitterness. The beer is almost tart in character. I'm liking it.

M-The carbonation is slightly creamy and soft, but as is often the case with hazy IPAs, it can feel a bit watery to me. Regardless, it is easy to drink.

O-I have been impressed by Outer Range. They seem to have dialed in the hazy IPA and this is another good beer; maybe my favorite so far from them. I like how you can really taste the different hops in each different beer.

Wow! First beer from a new brewery and it is a very successful go at a NE hazy IPA. Hops on the board (much appreciated) say Citra & Waimea.
L- bright and hazy yellow/gold not dull and grayish like some turbid IPAs. This is a beaut!
S- bright citrus, sweet melon, a bit of pine spice (Waimea maybe?) and some pineapple.
T- follows nose pretty much exactly.
M- softer for an IPA but still looking for that "pillowy" feel people describe for the "style". This could be what folks mean by that soft mouthfeel and it's just in my head. I can't definitively say since I've never had a standard bearer for the sub-style (Treehouse, Trillium, etc.)
O- if you are seeking out NE IPAs in CO this was excellent take and they also had a few examples on tap that I didn't try.
