an excellent hazy ipa from these guys, which in my limited experience with their beer, is what they seem to do best. while still cloudy, this one glows pale yellow in the glass, gorgeous color to it and a lasting creamy white head. the feel of the beer matches too, its fantastic, rich and frothy and bigger bodied but not heavy, some oats or something in here i would think giving it that character, but im not sure. hops are southern hemisphere tasting to me, galaxy maybe at the forefront, very fresh, with what appears obviously mosaic in the nose, fruity and earthy, juicy with citrus forward flavor, very mild bitterness, bit a lot of hops, very much dry hoppy, very much on trend, juice forward, and delicious, there have to be some other strains in here too. i love the oily and aromatic hops meeting this grounded dry grain base, its beautifully crafted really, and reminds me of some of the best hazy ipa types from back east. i still think their in the steep is my favorite i have had so far, but this is a close second. awesome use of these hops, vibrant and super drinkable ipa! these guys are on their way to stardom here in colorado already with beers like this!
