This beer is probably the least well made beer at ORB. I'm not sure why they keep making it. But I was foolish enough to buy it again, this year, after having it last year and being pretty disappointed. It doesn't taste like... much of anything. Vague, watery impressions of hopes, and haze. But there are far better beers that have less ABV than this one (5%) and still taste like something. This is not one of the winners you've come to expect from ORB. Bleh.

a nice and drinkable hazy pale ale, obviously well dry hopped, and with some starchy grains in the mash. i like the build of this one, simple and earthy, dry but flavorful, and with a nice expansive body for how mild and drinkable the beer is overall, very well refined, less of a kitchen sink approach than some of their others, and it seems like haze with a purpose to me, i liked this a lot, but in the context of all their hoppy stuff, its pretty tame. the hops are really juicy, almost exclusively dry hopped it seems to me, fun and different though, sort of mosaic smelling and tasting, but there is more to this. limes and peaches, pineapple and white grape, the fruitiness abounds in the flavor too, carried on in a mellow fashion by the fluffy malt base. there is a flash of pine and just a touch of bitterness as it winds down. good carbonation that cuts through the hop intensity too, refreshing even for the style, i could drink a whole lot of this one if left to my own devices! it was awesome to finally get to visit this brewery, they will be a household name here in colorado before long because of beers like this!

This is without a doubt the best "session" IPA i've had the pleasure of drinking . A beautiful hop combo gives birth to a bounty of tasticles that will crush your buds. Outer Range, you sir, deserve the hype. BOOM!
