44 cl can poured into a 50 cl glass in Toulouse, France.
Fluffs up properly, yellow-gold hazy boi brew glows in the glass. Good legs with lacing down to the ankle.
Nose full of Mosaic hops, New Zealand Wakatu hops in tow, offering up vapors of lime zest, little bit of almost soapy floral grassyness, mango, pineapple. It’s herbal for sure. Tad of dankness.
Taste comes in wet with mushmelon and pineapple. The Wakatu throws a curve ball on the tongue because it’s not as widely used as, say, Citra, in a DIPA. Momentary moderate bitterness prevails. British pale malts bring a smoothness, and lend a sweet counterbalance to the expressive hops. ABV is very well hidden, so this went down kinda easy and.,. fast. There’s a dank dryness late in the hit that could easily be offputting to some.
Mouthfeel is full and rich. Medium carbonation.
Overall, a crushable NEIPA that’s been brewed for at least seven years that is juicy and bright. Yet different.

Just another absolutely delicious hazy from these guys. Tastes more than just "hop juice." You get those tart citrus and tropical notes, but there is a nice moderate bitterness to let you know you are drinking a beer. Outer Range and Knotted Root crushing this style.

A giant hazebomb from the ORB folks. A little sweet for my taste, but that is both the ABV (8.7) and the fact that it's Wakatu as the prime hop (good with Mosaic). It leads to the more melon/mango/canteloupe side of hops which I'm just not as "way down" with as styles go for DIPAs. Definitely comes across as a (sweet) imperial rather than a dry bitter DIPA. Word to the wise!

16oz can with no date, purchased at the brewery in October 2021. Opened 1-1-21.
1 finger white head, good retention as it sinks down to a solid cap.
Bright and opaque soft golden color. Nice integrated pour. Full lacing.
Aroma is mainly citrus and pineapple to begin with a floral (weedy) note showing up late.
Zesty citrus and lime character...some white grape as well.
Medium plus body, and carbonation with a soft mouthfeel and low bitterness. Medium length, zesty, and dry finish.
Very Good.

yet another hazy dry hopped bomb from outer range, they are all so good, setting the standard for the style really. this one lit me up, i slammed through them as it drinks more like a single than a double ipa, but man did this one catch up with me and end up wrecking me! its just so drinkable and flavorful that its hard to ever set the glass down, when im not drinking it, im smelling it, its fantastic. mosaic and wakatu hops from what i understand, and all of them too. pineapple and pine, white grape, soft honeydew melon, its bursting with wet tropical fruitiness in nose and taste. there isnt much sweetness here in the grain base for how strong it is, and the bitterness is really minimal too, which leads to a much higher drinkability than any of us are used to in a double ipa. it seriously drinks like 6% abv! maybe some oats in here or raw wheat, this is earthy and minimalist on the malt side, but it has some body and some length, both of which work to carry the hops a little further than they usually go. tremendous juiciness and freshness to this, the flavors are summery, but this is refreshing and a nice respite from winter in the mountains. these guys are really killing it with these hazy ipa types, and while maybe they all run together just a little bit due to the sheer amount of them they are making, this is another delicious one that would stand up to almost anything else out there in the style...
