woof, this one is not some of their best work, a super hazy, brutally overhopped blonde or pale base, simple beer really, just overdone, very square peg round hole to me in terms of style and hops, this enormous juicy multiple dry hop thing just doesnt work on every style, sorry to say, and beyond that, this has an almost chemical element to it, astringent and detergent-esque, likely just from overdosed hops not a messed up fermentation or anything, but this one should be scaled way back. i think the hop flavors potentially work well with the yeast in here, but the proportions are not even close to right, and it seems flawed as a result. thick to drink on, some pineapple juice and orange rind to the hops, some oils too, and finally a sort of electric estery finish, not as well refined and cohesive as i have gotten used to from thee guys in their hoppy beers, this one is a bit of a mess, fresh as it is. it has some redeeming elements, like, i enjoy the hops, but not to this extent, its just too much, overwhelms everything else in the beer, and its hard to even drink a taster of this, at least for me. its not a hard fix, and there is potential here, stay tuned, im sure they will dial it in...
