Appearance: very light and cloudy – much more in line with a wit or Saison/Belgian blonde. The head is a bright white that fades to a lacing.
Aroma: light and crisp. Hoppy, but not overpowering. Certainly on the light side, especially so for an IPA.
Flavor: crisp, hoppy and dry. The malt is light and finishes sweet.
Mouthfeel: crisp and light; the body is thin. This is a thirst-quenching beer. As the beer warms, the body becomes noticeably heavier, which creates the disharmony between body and flavor - initially thin bodied but with high(er) abv then heavier bodied, but lighter hops.
Overall: good, not great. This is a summer beer; light, crisp and thin. I’d prefer this in session strength. This goes down too easily. Something is of balance in this beer. There is a disharmony between the hop level and the body.
