Had a pint with a late lunch on 8-25-18 at the Mountain Standard restaurant in Vail, CO for $9.
Beer was served a cloudy golden color with a nice white head.
Nose was light fresh citrus forward.
Taste was orange forward with some mango infused over a light malt base. Finish was a very light touch of orange rind.
Feel was light and refreshing.
Overall a tasty brew that i would have again if given the opportunity!

Appearance: extremely thick when poured – imperial stout weight. Totally hazy, opaque. More tan than yellow, almost an orange-yeast color combo. Minimal head which fades immediately to resemble a flat beer.
Aroma: orange juice, but not “juicy,” pineapple and dried papaya. Dry smelling.
Flavor: orange pith and honey suckle. The hops are dry and long-lasting. Not as juicy as I expected given the haze. The hops linger for a long time and morph into a spicy finish.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied but a bit heavier than I expected at 5.7% abv. This beer’s finish leaves an enduring spicy and “clean” feeling in the finish, like the resulting mouthfeel when you chew on raw hops; a mouth-cleansing sensation. Quite enjoyable, and in truth, the best part of this beer.
Overall: Very good but shy of damn good. One of OR’s better beers, though. Just a bit too dry. I would buy this bee repeatedly if readily available. Outer Range is showing a mastery of IPAs.
