Appearance: a light honey colored body with some haze but not NE style. The head forms briefly, made up of microfine bubbles, which fades quickly to the bare minimum to reveal the beer isn’t flat.
Aroma: orange and banana; maybe the lightest bit of sulfur. Deep breathes conjure thoughts of custard.
Flavor: floral at first which transitions to the hops and finishes with alcohol. No alcohol heat, but its apparent that this beer has hair on its chest. The hops are generic – dry and crisp but no standout flavor - which really compromises the potential of this beer.
Mouthfeel: heavy-medium. This one will weigh you down. The alcohol flavor and weight don’t leave room for a second.
Overall: a very good beer but shy of excellent.

maybe ill never get sick of these dry hopped hazy ipa types from outer range, they really are doing them better than just about anyone else in the state, and this one is quite distinct, even where some of the others have been a little samey lately. its simcoe and enigma hops, the latter of which i dont have a ton of experience with but can definitely appreciate as unique in this beer. there is an interesting almost savory element to it, an intense floral honey thing, sort of concentrated and strong, mostly right at the swallow, bordering on too intense, it hits the middle of the tongue and have a vegetal element, an oily richness, and a polleny summery intensity, almost allergic feeling, pretty distinct from the simcoe element in this, but they go together well, with the climax right at the finish, late for one of these which is also kind of interesting. its soft in feel but definitely a little boozy. i think that works though, like the alcohol extracts something interesting from the hops in a way that dry hopping along cannot, and in the case of the enigma, there is an obvious synergy there. spicy and sweet go back and forth, the malt here has some body but not as much flavor as some of the others, and i get honey and vape pen and citrus at the end with a little warmth. really different beer, intensely flavored, and better to me when its right out of the fridge than when it warms up, where it becomes overly hoppy and a bit disjointed, but these guys keep on killing it! whoever is doing the labels on these cans is rocking it too, this one looks super sharp! a cool showcase of enigma hops!
