the clearest, and for me, best of the three trail beers that were recently brewed. the cans are awesome, with the maps on them, this beer is awesome too, mosaic and cashmere hops, the latter of which is relatively unfamiliar to me, but this is great stuff, unique too, not all mosaic, thats for sure. lemongrass and lemon zest, elderflower bitterness, floral honey and pollen, dandelion, white tea, dried grass, juicy tangerine, even a peach hit, and the flavor is there with the nose, dry hopped but not a juice bomb to me, the flavor is there, there is balance from the grain, which isnt starchy or heavy to me at all, and there is bitterness coming on more and more along the way to the finish. the carbonation is awesome, its real fresh tasting, and i cant believe its as strong as it. i mean, it explains a lot, i sure got my buzz on with these, but man, i would have guessed closer to 6% abv when i was drinking it, it goes right down. some swirling oily hoppiness, pineapple, melon, lemon, its awesome. i liked this the best of the three, its certainly the most refined and cleaned up and drinkable, i wish more of the outer range hoppy beers were this easy down, not so raw and overly hazy. this is really good, they should keep making it!
