Might be the second or third hoppy beer I've had from this brewery, quite impressed.
The appearance is tough on a hazy ipa, but for style, this is a good looking one. Usual mixture of yellow and beige coloring, 3/5" white head. Thick. The aroma, hey, you gotta love Nelson because this is teeming with it. Dank weed, body odor, papaya, onion, garlic, passion fruit, diesel. Its all up in here just like a middle aged one on a first date.
The taste somehow goes above and beyond the smell, splicing up a hit of tangerine (Citra?) to compliment all the dank Nelson hop goodness. Creamy texture, not trubby in a problematic way. The entire pint is every sip of elite hazy ipa and showcase for the Nelson hop. It might be time to start mentioning this brewery along the top tier hazymakers. Which is good because they're all on opposite sides of the country, nice to have one kind of close to in the middle geographically speaking. Sucks its in Colorado, the land of used up middle agers who split their kids up for attention and money.

Pours a murky orange that looks like a ripe orange. Head is a foamy finger of white bubbles that retain well. Aroma is tangerine, papaya, mango and earthy hops. Flavor profile is tangerine, papaya, mango and gritty earthy hops. Good tropical fruit sweetness up front followed by gritty earthy hops. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a robust, bubbly grain for texture. Overall, jammed full of flavor, but not in a singular dimension. It remains smooth and decadent.
