Appearance: hazy baby yellow-tan with a very thin veil of off-white micro fine bubbles.
Aroma: fresh hay, light sweet malt and mild tangerine pith. Fairly generic, though.
Flavor: in your face hops; dry. This is less “juice” and more “round” and mellow West Coast style in hoppiness. There are few stand out hop flavors. The malt is light. Not bad, just not super flavorful. Generic. Clean. Light alcohol in the finish.
Mouthfeel: light(er)-medium. I could drink quite a few. Right what I desire at 6.5% abv.
Overall: Good but not great. Everything is well executed; there’s just now “wow.” This beer needs to warm considerably before its flavor achieves its peak. The flavor is just missing something: a beer whose sum is less than its parts.
