incredible collaboration right here with mikerphone, its such a good beer, the best hoppy anything i have had in a long time, big thanks to my boy for sharing a can with me. its hazy as can be, even some particulate in the bottom of the thing, but insanely new school, dry hoppy, and fresh, new zealand hops abound with things like white grape and rare melon and juicy citrus candy, white gummy bears and everything. nelson is obvious and awesome in it, and it has absolutely no bitterness. its interesting because usually hoppy beer this hazy and strong is also sweet, but this one isnt, nothing seems forced, everything in balance and its just so fruity as to be insane. honeydew and lemongrass and subtle vanilla, its heavy but its nuanced too, with all kinds of fruit and decadence. i know they both do stupidly robust hoppy beers on their own, but this one seems to go to a new level of intense. i love the hop combination, i want more of it, and for such a big beer, its drinkable too. more interesting and layered as it warms. a special ipa, a shame its a one off, this should be available all the time. one of the best i have had from either brewer...
