16 oz. Can
Canned On: 04.17.25
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, guava, peach), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, guava, peach), pretty nice diesel like. Medium Body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty beer. Orange Julius! MilkShake! Addictive!

16oz can with no date. Purchased at the brewery on 10-19-21, opened 11-6-21.
2 finger eggshell head, slowly fades to a thick cap and ring of early lacing. Pale gold and opaque.
Catty, earthy, grassy, pine, and some citrus in the nose. Pineapple and wild onion.
Creamy orange followed by weedy green and earthy hop flavors. Weedier as it warms. Bitter peel / citrus rind element.
Full body and creamy mouthfeel, good punch of bitterness. Prickly with a little heat and a lengthy off-dry finish.
Very Good.

I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte, NC whom got it from a beer of the month club pack. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank stone and apricot notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with dank apricot and tropical fruit notes. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a very good beer.

L - typical unfiltered-to-murk NEIPA look; doesn't really fall to one side of the other (clearly), but retains a coarse foam and lacing down the glass.
S - A bit of strange muted grass, citrus, some other ineffable smell that was a little...uh... weird at first. Can't even pick it out. Some herbal smell.
T - Better than it smells; classic dense citrusy DIPA from ORB, not their best, not their worst.
F - Good carbonation, dries pretty abruptly at the end, will need a 2nd can to make sure this is a definite characteristic of this beer.
O _ Another damn good DIPA, but not my fave from ORB>

16 oz can. Pours murky dark yellow with a medium frothy white head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass some,
The aroma is catty green onion hops with a little fruit.
The flavor is sweet wheat malt with lots of fruity, lightly catty, hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, smells terrible, but tastes OK. One of the few hoppy disappointments I've had from Outer Range.

Original ratings: 3.5 3.25 4.0 4.0 3.75
The body looks the same; the head is thicker, soapier; flecks and legs of foam stick to the glass. Stronger aroma; aged citrus fruits with an earthy quality. Taste and mouthfeel are much the same.
So, some upticks on the appearance and smell factors. I wouldn't consider this a juicy hazy, earthy and robust with a nice tangy bite, appropriate for an imperial styled hazy anyway. Good stuff...
---------------------
Pineapple and orange juice colored body; thin, wispy head. Little aroma, perhaps a bit fruity with some cereal grain. Grapefruit flavor; tart and bitter; biscuit underneath. Heavy body; sharp and piercing; semi-dry throughout.
A very nice DIPA, bitter and bracing.
