Nelson version.
Pours a murky pale orange that looks like grapefruit juice mixed with club soda, that is to say, a more rich orange hue lower in the glass, with the upper portion lightening up to a slightly more translucent orange. Orange is a much deeper, more rich hue with a consistent murkiness from top of the glass to bottom when the final ounces are poured into the glass. Head is two fingers of dense white foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is papaya, tangerine and grapefruit right on the nose. Beyond that, patchy bits of lemongrass, herbal and floral hops add some depth, but overall - it's a tropical fruit stale peddling grapefruits, tangerines and papayas. Flavor profile is papaya, tangerine, guava and grapefruit through and through. Despite the lengthy list of sugary-sweet tropical fruits, the profile finishes with a modest dryness. Dryness is courtesy of lemongrass, herbal and earthy hops working in conjunction with a light rindy chalk and sticky hop burn to draw the flavor profile to a conclusion. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a light chalky, rindy texture. It's just a little more sporadic than silty. Overall, full of flavor through and through, and with good focus on the target. It's only knocked off its line slightly by the chalky, rindy finish to the flavor profile.
Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 16oz can.

DDH Nelson
16oz can with no freshness dating. Opened 8-20-20.
HOPS: Galaxy, Mosaic, Nelson
2+ finger white head rises over the rim of the glass and has outstanding staying power. Dense foam and a fine bead.
Orange gold and fully opaque. Thick, sticky, full lacing.
Pineapple is the dominant aroma in an early muted nose.
When open, more citrus shows - orange/grapefruit...ripe melon.
Flavors of pineapple, zesty citrus, white grape, and a sweaty herbal punch.
More of the Nelson shows later in the beer with a zesty white grape flavor.
Full body, soft, creamy and airy mouthfeel. Moderate tongue-tingling bitterness in a lengthy, juicy off-dry finish.
Outstanding.
