Thanks Steve!
This was poured into snifter.
The appearance was a glossy burnt yellow with a stifled orange semi-bright hue to it. A small two finger white foamy head slid off stealthily leaving some nice clingy lace.
The aroma had long semi-sweet orange peel throwing just enough bitterness in there for a sly balance. Some grassy hop spice with some light notes of white pepper and danky onion/garlic earthy tones rub the backbone very nicely.
The flavor took all of those prior mentioned aromas to mesh together through an eloquent blend - pure sweet to spicy to bitter all coming in to pummel each other yet still allow each other to show their strength. Not much of an aftertaste, but what did seem to be there was some garlic/onion sweetness with some orange peel.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Some "juicy" feels coats my tongue but only a little bit of stickiness. Pretty good carbonation and a nice finish of orange peel bitterness with an earthy grip of onion dryness.
Overall, I'd say pretty nice New England styled IPA worthy of coming back to.
