This is an extremely smooth beer that is advertised as a double IPA. It has a pleasant aftertaste and a floral bouquet. It pours of a blood amber/pineapple cast. Although listed as a double IPA, it is somewhat devoid of the hoppiness that I usually expect in a double IPA. I could not find any listed IBUs for this beer, either on the can or through online searches. Perhaps the IBUs are a mystery by design because it can't be that high, and certainly not as high as one would expect in a double IPA. If you are looking for a hoppy double IPA, then this is not your beer. If not, then this is one enjoyable beer that is quite lovely!

16oz can served in a nonic glass. No can dating.
Look- Murky golden straw color. Solid off-white with nice retention and lacing. No carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Citrus (grapefruit, lemon and orange pith), tropical fruit (pineapple, papaya, mango and passionfruit), a bit of peach, grainy malt, chive and herbal/floral notes.
Taste- Similar to the aroma, citrus and tropical fruit, peach, bready malt, light white pepper and other light hop notes.
Feel- Medium bodied, slightly sweet and soft with a solid citrus pith bitterness on the back end. Medium/light carbonation on the tongue.
O- A very nice IPA, glad I had a chance to try it. Definitely worth checking out.

Soft and milky pale yellow body; fairly thick and sudsy white head; partial rings of foam cling to the glass. Aroma of fresh peach, mango and tangerine. Initial sip reveals mild biscuit and cracker malt flavors then sharp and acidic citrus notes; old lemon rind and white grapefruit juice; bold phenols and bitterness close things out. Heavy body; soft and creamy at first then transforms into a sharp, biting quality with some boozy dryness.
This is a very fine and bold NEIPA from Outer Range. The sharpness and phenols mellow out after a while, creating a nicely balanced yet bold tasting beer.
