On tap at ORB 7.17.20 - part of the Black is Beautiful benefit collaborative happening nationwide. This one, I'm happy to report, is stellar.
L - Dark chocolate-mocha, great dark foam, great head, very nice dare I say "sexy" lacing as it goes down the glass?
S - Great blend of expected roast, chocolate, molasses, malts, and some good balancing dry hop whiff.
T - More of what the nose promised; it's a big beer without barrel aging, always nice to find, and it's rich, rich, rich - roasty coffee brownies in your mouth without the weird cloying vanilla sweetness of a BA stout. Damn, this is good.
F - Mouth filling joy; great balance, not really boozy at all (and that's dangerous at 10%). Too drinkable, ORB, just too damn drinkable.
O - A wonderful example of why ORB should be brewing more NON-IPA variants on a monthly basis. This one is a killer. Fantastic cause, fantastic beer. Better than other examples (n=18) of the BiB benefit beers.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
