Pretty much a NEIPA with a biscuity finish. This is like the NEIPA version of SNPA. Delicious

Smoothly cloudy body; medium yellow color; very thick, frothy and white head; sticky fingers of foam streak the glass. Over ripe tropical fruit smell; oats. Citrus and tropical fruit taste; orange and grapefruit primarily, a bit of lemon; biscuit flavor in the background; moderate amount of hop bitterness. Heavy body; smooth with a bit of punchy prickliness on the tongue; acidic; starts juicy, finishes fairly dry.
I don't know what truly distinguishes this 'pale ale' from a NEIPA. It has its good points but other than some killer looks, it seems pretty middle of the road as far as hazie ales go.

16oz can with no freshness date. Opened 1-2-21.
2 finger white head with excellent retention.
Opaque orange juice gold. Full lacing.
Orange rind, tropical fruit - mango and a sharp passion fruit edge.
Vivid flavors, slightly thinner orange juice, peach, zesty lime and greenery.
Fresh squeezed flavors and aromas.
Soft mouthfeel, citrus peel bitterness...full body with low-medium carbonation. Juicy and off-dry finish.
This is a big time winner in all categories at only 5.3% abv.
Outstanding.

L - Another dense murk-bomb from ORB. Good head, a little lacing, too.
S - Woah, this one is going to be notable for its ripe hop and juice aroma. Dankity dank on the nose with some real tropical notes in the background. It smells huge.
T - This is fabulous for 5.3% - has all the density and palate attack of a DIPA from them, but not sweetness, stays lovely, dry, dank, bitter, but with real balance to it. Maybe one of the best pale ales I've had all of 2020 (not kidding, and let's face it, we all drank more this past year). WOW.
F - Really "big" presence on the palate, and feel in general, given the weight. It's hard to describe how fluffy and full this beer is.. an impressive accomplishment and one I hope that ORB repeats. Amazing stuff.
O _ a great, perhaps the best, pale ale. One of the best of 2020!
