16 fl oz pull-tab can:

"West-Coast Style India Pale Ale." 7.0% ABV. Canned 10/20/2022 per the underside of the can. "Hops: Cascade, Amarillo, Mosaic Cryo, El Dorado."

A biteen dry but coating with ample Amarillo resin and some limited Cascade oils but not much Cascade pine nor Mosaic blueberry. Citrusy and well balanced hopwise, with a medium bodied mouthfeel.

Pale and hazy soft yellow-orange body; thick and frothy white head, sticky legs and speckled patches of foam sheet the glass. An incredibly fresh scent of pineapple and other tropical fruits. Oat-like malt base flavor intermingled with soft and light citrus flavors; very mild hop bitterness; mild booziness. Medium body; smooth and silky; nice blend of sweet and dry to the mouthfeel.

My main beef with this beer is that it is explicitly labeled as a west-coast style IPA, yet the beer is hazy, oat-like, and has a strong and fresh tropical fruit character. Perhaps I'm mixed up, but this certainly looks, smells, and drinks like a New England / hazy IPA and not a clear, dank, hoppy west coast IPA. And so a rather big drop in my overall score, otherwise, a 4.25 for the overall would be warranted.

Poured at 49 F; no canning date seen on the label.
