Midnight black body; opaque; thick, frothy, light tan head. Outstanding smell; roasted malts with cocoa and baker's chocolate; grain char. The taste follows along the lines of the smell; rich, sweet dark malt notes; moderate bitterness. Heavy body with a slick smoothness on the palate; nice residual sugar feel; sweet mouthfeel overall yet finishes with a slightly sharp dryness.
