16 oz. Can
Canned On: 02.18.25

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, guava, peach), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, guava, peach), pretty nice diesel like. Medium Body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty beer. Orange Julius! MilkShake! Addictive!

Nice looking, nectarine yellow body, hazy and opaque; nice head, frothy and semi-dense, white colored; sticky, spidery webs of foam cling to the inside of the glass. Decent nose comprised of oats and citrus pith. Fair taste, much like the smell only bolder; strong hop bitterness. Medium-heavy body; dense and velvety; semi-juicy; edge of dryness.

Overall, this beer seems rather one-dimensional with its citrus pith bitterness. Sure, some oat character is there, but on the whole, rather boring and pedestrian. But, man, a very nice mouthfeel.

8/19/22 can date. The full potential of Nelson isn’t brought out- winey, sauvignon blanc grape flavor of this hop. Too earthy, not winey. The color is lackluster. Recipe overhaul needed.
