Milkshake cloudy. Pale amber/dirty gold color. A moderate head that settles to film on the surface. A partial blanket of lace initial, minute spots thereafter.
Dry, weedy, and peppery are the primary smells. There's also a strong grapefruit rind nose.
The beer is sweeter than the smell. Full-bodied with a muted carbonation level. The malt is very brief with a pineapple flavor. The black pepper bitterness comes in quickly. It also dries out the beer. Long lip-smacking bitter aftertaste.
