Copenhagen 30/5 2026. 30/5 2026. 44 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. Black can wing a little label shaped white area with the name of the beer.
Pours slightly unclear golden amber with a big dense head. Stable. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and salty odor mingling with sour grains and a hint of alcohol. Sweet pale malts and bread. Whiff of caramel. Sour grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a sourish, bitter undertone- Lingers for a while Finish is semi-dry.
Decent take on a Festbier.

Clear, golden pour and glass presence; dense, fine-bubble carbonation; thick, white head, frothy. Great nose; light malt sweetness blended with soft esters. Malt-forward taste; finishes with a biscuit-like quality; low-key hop bitterness. Medium-bodied; moderate residual sugar presence; delicately sticky; finishes with a mild dryness.
Overall, this is a nice festbier. Perhaps not top-tier for the style, but definitely a fine representation of the style. Quite quaffable.
ABV: 5.3%; pouring temperature: 53.2 ℉; canning info: n/a
