Our vector is Victor. Half way other half out from the cider donut place that was looking to close but we managed to score a dozen cinnamon sugar meth apple cider donuts (the classic) which were just the sustenance needed to push on. Monkey; in a building space with other businesses at the tracks. We parked around the far side and came up wandered, through the out front pen seating, down the ramp and in…

Industrial space with pale walls and light art. Concrete floors, and a high black painted ceiling with ductwork, fluro light boxes, and drop ball & conehead single filament bulb lighting across the room.

To the rear, a straight dark wood bar with a light trim, horizontal wood pieced base and foot bar. 6 stools for the sitting at and a pair of inconveniently located barrels there during this Covid life. Barback is a wall of gray & brown scale vertical slat wood fronting the cold box to one side. Mug club mugs shelved to the left with 2 boards above; one with mug club member benefit info and the other with wine & cocktails & swag. Booze & wine tiered on center. And a 12 tap logo handle row on the right with taps listed above on small boards (beer, style, ABV, ABV, serving size, & cost) in alt colored print. Glassware shelved below and growls ‘fridged there, too. Stumbling (technically, gone fallen over) Monkey logo piece above the bar. Small brewery alongside corralled, 3bbl, maybe 5bbl. Can’t tell, don’t have my eyes on. Shirts on a board on the end and growls, crowls, mugs, & glassware shelved. Flats above at both ends of the bar, and another in the far corner of the room. Darts for throwing (at), table shuffleboard, & a popcorn machine there (me, pointing). A pair of raised roundies adjacent to the bar and 6 more on barrel & roundie play over there (me, pointing).

12 taps; 11 house beers (Ass Up, DDH IPA, 8.5%; Dropping Dimes, DDH NE DIPA, 8.5%; 2 Hops, 1 Cup, NE IPA, 6.3%; Clouded Judgement, DDH IPA, 6.5%; Mango Guava Gose, 4.5%; Raspberry Lime Gose, 4.7%; Midnight Porter, 5.8%; Nolan’s Lunch Box Peanut Butter & Maple Porter, 9%; Amber Ale, 5.5%; Belgian Wit, 5%; Mango Seltzer, 4.5%), and a guest cider (OSB Ciderworks Gangsta’s Pearadise Hard Cider, 5.5%).

That’s 4 IPAs, a pair each of Goses (what is the plural of ‘Gose’?) & Porters, an Amber, a Wit, a seltzer, & a cider. Okay, the Amber Ale is corny, fact. The Midnight Porter is quite good with a nice roastiness about it. The Nolan’s Lunch Box Peanut Butter & Maple Porter is okay. I get the PB and then banana? The Ass Up DDH IPA is very, very good. Dry, juicy, delicious. The Clouded Judgement DDH IPA, however, I am just not feeling. And the Belgian Wit is corny, too. I didn’t get to the Goses like I would have liked to have. Midnight Porter & Ass UP DDH IPA for the wins.

Ben’s snack of choice was Cheese-Its. Well done, sir. Chill house with a decent crowd for a what day of the week is it, exactly, afternoon. A couple of good beers had here.

Industrial chic tasting room just off the main drag in Victor. Very much a locals hangout. Small bar seat about 8, maybe 10. A dozen well assorted beers on tap, I had the Peanut Butter Porter and it was very tasty. Very friendly service.

This brewery is in a small plaza and from the outside it looks very small inside but it’s actually a pretty decent size inside. They have a bar with probably 10 stools and 7 or 8 round wooden tables. Awesome beer selection when I went they had 3 NE IPAS including 2 that were double dry hopped which was a nice treat. They also had a nice selection of dark beers including a maple bacon porter and one of the best oatmeal stouts I’ve ever had. All their beer was very tasty with creative names and ingredients. They also had a band which was a pleasant suprise. An awesome brewery that is definitely worth a visit and a re-visit.
