Poured a dark gold body with decent head and lace ring down the glass. The aroma has nice touches fruity esters, like apple, along with touches of belgian yeast. Smooth, sticky, medium body, a mild fruit sweetness that is somewhat like dark fruits like figs and a touch of maltiness along with some yeast-like sweetness (not quite bubblegum). Not boozy at all although not sure I'd call this a Belgian, but overall it was good and worth trying.

Look: Clear orange with a big white head.

Smell: Citrus, spiced malt, some sugar.

Taste: Mild sweet malt, a bit of bitterness with a fruity and spicy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Absolutely perfect creaminess. Almost like a glass of cold milk.

Overall: Delicious and easy to drink. You won’t even notice the booze.

If you love Belgian styled beers this one is a unique entry that compares to many other Belgian doubles and Quads, but is actually a Belgian Golden Strong. That wonderful Belgian yeast funk, accompanied by a browned candy sugar base, and mysterious spices, slides down your throat without the alcohol burn you'd expect. It is such a balanced clear, bright beer that it doesn't seem like you're drinking something with that high an ABV. I've never tasted anything quite like it, and the name is an nod to the brewer's dachshund, who had a habit of stealing underwear out of the laundry hamper and leaving it in embarrassing places.
