Refreshing beer with a fruity and hoppy character thanks to the well balanced mixture of specialty malts and american hops.

12oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. @WunderLlama sent it to me during NBS BIF #18. "CONS.PREF.31MAY2024"
Pours mostly clear, light amber, small fine head, light carbonation. Smell is light unripe peach and some pear (interesting), a little breadiness, maybe a little old hay.
Taste is pretty similar to the aroma, more of a bready sweetness is clear, old hay mostly is gone and replaced with an earthy bitterness.
Mouthfeel is on the light side of medium, nicely prickly despite appearance to the contrary. Overall, I suspect this is months past the manufacturer's "best by" date (guessing "cons.pref." means something similar to "consume before"), but this is still a serviceable pale ale. In its current state, I wouldn't go out of my way to get more, but would definitely consider it an acceptable option. If I had a chance to try it knowing it was fresh, I would go out of my way to do so.
