This was one of my go-to places when I lived in Richmond. Especially nice in the spring and the fall sitting out on the patio. Always a unique selection of offerings, and good pizzas too.

nice location at the edge of an industrial road but it's actually surrounded by a wooded area. nice covered and uncovered outdoor seating, then big space inside with a large bar, tables, and open kitchen with their brick pizza oven. A few take-out coolers filled with cans and bottles to go. Good mix of styles available. I picked up some Red IPA, Czech Dark Lager, and Kellerbier which were good.

Headed over here after Stone. Taproom in their production facility, pretty spacious. Food available, nice pizza oven. Didn't go too deep on the tap list. Tried their "bitter" ( see review). Lots more customers than Stone. Would like to explore their tap list a little more. Nice atmosphere

On the outskirts of town, stand alone large box of a place, with ample parking in the large lot.

Large and very pleasing outdoor eating area, and an equally light and airy inside area with an open kitchen and bar towards the center rear as you enter.

I enjoyed a tasty, mini sized pizza and more of their fine NEIPA on draft...they also offer a bunch of cans in 4 packs to go...fine place to go with a group or a casual and fun date...friendly and professional service...well worth a visit.

Winding down our time here, it’s off to DC themorrow. But today, it’s burbs play with Nick & Erin, and Chuck Cook, too. You see, we’re growing our ranks as we rip through Richmond; the confederates setting her to flames in their retreat. And yes, I’ve now got ‘The night they drove old Dixie down’ in my head. Uber’d out two instead of squeezing in one, totally the play. And here we be…

Stand alone on a little hill, good for defending against rebs. Enter through the outdoor seating area on the end (we’ll get back to that). It’s a nice sized open space. Concrete floors, and rafter ceilings with panels hanging (for the absorbing of sound, perhaps, I really don’t know). Two tone cinderblock walls, a sprawling vivid animated mural the length of the room on the far wall, and similar beer art to the downtown house elsewhere. Drop cylinder single filament bulbs lamps tracing the bar, moonshine still copper corkscrew tube lamps over the seating, and egg lights strung all across the room from the bar outward. Swag rack on the far wall and a can cooler next to that. Also over there, an old steamer truck and a boxed piece on wheels mounted, both with small monkeys climbing, sitting, & standing about, holding lights, as monkeys so often do.

I can see the back corner bar, I’ll just have to wade through a sea of seating to get there. Hook shaped plastic-y topped with a stainless panel base; seating for a dozen+ on low back chairs running the length of the handle and a few more around the bend. Glassware shelved on the barback wall, and a tap panel on one end with a pair of draft boards above (beer, style, ABV, and pricing for a 10oz shorty, 13oz or 16oz full pours, and growler fills, if applicable). Yes, there is a life size (?) obviously very thirsty Velociraptor atop the barback (clever girl).

A kitchen on the opposite wall from wherest the pizzas come (and a few other sharables; salads & snacks); prep and an igloo oven there. How did I not get that hot honey & pepperoni pizza I had been eyeballin’? (I make poor eating choices, like, forgetting to, when I beer travel sometimes). And damn you, Nightingale Ice Cream sandwich people, damn you!

A row of booths on a double sided divider off the bar, 4 brightly colorful loooooong raised rectangular tables in 2 rows of 2 on stainless steel chairs, another low long table down past the kitchen in the rear corner, and a small front corner step up with seating and a bar counter piece there.

15 beers up just now (Kellerbier, 5%; Far Fields, Saison, 5%; Proximity Project: Blackberry Sliced, American Wild Ale, 5.5%; Salinity - Lime, Gose, 3.8%; Mesa, Table Beer, 4.5%; Element 79, Gluten Free Golden Ale, 4.5%; Citra Triangles, IPA, 6%; El Dorado Triangles, IPA, 6%; Falcon Smash, IPA, 7%; DDH Clever Girl, IPA, 6%; Night Call, Imperial IPA, 8%; The Grid, Imperial IPA, 8%; Valhalla, Imperial IPA, 8%; Battle Creek, Imperial IPA, 8%; Poor Icarus, Imperial IPA 8%). The list is nearly identical to the downtown house we saw 2 days ago save the omission of 1 IPA & the addition of 3 more Imperial IPAs here. Daaaaaaamn. They sure do like their IPAs down here. I mean, 9 of the 15 beers up are IPAs or Imperial IPAs.

I repeated a few beers I’d had the other night in town; Kellerbier (just lovely), Mesa (easy drinker), & Falcon Smash (dank, mad tasty) as I was trying to behave and it was to be a long day. Everything was very nicely done.

There’s a large back room; they’re doing a United Way event there just now so I really can’t go poking around to see the what what. But I can see that the space holds barrels racked along the perimeter and a smaller ‘L’ shaped marble topped bar to be used during events (and days that end with ‘Y’ if they were feeling it, I suppose).

And the aforementioned out front penned area wraps around for off the entrance side seating under an open overhang with spinny fans and sunken spots, plus a handful more loose tables further on. A pair of forward garage doors off the entrance open up over this porch area in better weather, I’m sure. Bocce court action, and some picnic tables in a row umbella’d up off the walkway.

An absolutely solid house. I really enjoyed the beer here and would like to have gotten to know a pizza, you know? I’ll be back.

Arrived late Saturday afternoon. The place was packed with patrons from every age group. Families, couples, groups and a few senior citizens. Music was easy going pop rock, low volume.. almost background music. Plenty to choose from on tap, and a few bottles/cans for sale to go. In a group of 4, we all ventured out into our own tastes. I had 4 beers, and they were all very good. Really like the ambience and overall experience.

Coming off the highway, one winds through neighborhoods and industrial parks to get to Triple Crossing's new location. Once you arrive, there is plenty of parking outside of a decently marked lot. The building and space are beautiful inside and out. There is plenty of outdoor seating surrounded by foliage. Inside are bright murals. Beer selection is mostly IPAs, some sours, stouts as well. Service was great at the bar, though a large line was forming for those not seated. We ordered pizza and breadsticks which arrived quickly and were really good. This is another great Richmond stop, I'd definitely recommend.

By my count it was 1 lager, 3 sours, 10+ IPA's. This was not a problem for me since I lovvvvve IPA's and they were really well done. But others might struggle with this selection.

The pizza was yum but again it's limited cause that's your only choice. The place was filled with a light smoke haze that smelled good but didn't feel great on some of our eyes.

Overall though it was a huge place with indoor/outdoor seating, a good vibe, good crowd...I would go back!

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. The place was not too busy, and we sat outside at one of a half dozen picnic tables. There were a few other chairs outside and some space for games including a niche court.

Inside had a few community tables and a large event space that was fairly empty. Located in back was a small arcade, as well. The place sold Bruce oven pizzas, but we did not try any.

The beer menu focused on IPAs, with only there of the about 10 taps being non-IPA. Two of the ten we're also variants of another selection. The beers were good, and I actually particularly liked the non-IPAs, mildly surprisingly. There was one canned offering (guessing their most recent release) and merchandise for sale to go.

The staff were helpful and friendly on what seemed to be a slower day. This is a more laid back place with a bunch of space and I could see it being good for a larger gathering or an event (or even live music). I didn't take note to any planned events, however. Having a couple more options on tap would be nice, though.

Triple Crossing is just barely out of the city to make you feel like you are in some small-town brewery, but the space is sophisticated enough to remind you that you are still in rapidly gentrifying Richmond.

There are too many kids and families here, which is not my cup of tea. But...

Lots of hot girls- I do approve.

Extremely delicious, thin pizza: YES.

Not enough beers on tap: sad face.

Only five (5) beers on tap! I cry foul. I won't make it a priority to come back here.

The place is located a little out of the way in a semi-industrial space with a fair amount of indoor seating + bar as well as an outdoor patio with additional seating. Judging by the clientele I saw on a Sunday afternoon, the place seems to be child/family friendly which I guess is not surprising with it serving pizza. Clean and open though slightly dimly light even on a sunny afternoon.

Beers were well poured with a decent head in proper glassware and at a decent temperature. Beer to go was stored cold.

Service was helpful, friendly, and attentive offering some suggestions on the beers.

Selection was heavy on the IPA/DIPA with a couple of sours and a couple of stouts.

As I had just eaten an hour or so earlier at Mekong, I passed on food though what I saw definitely looked good.

Nice location. Good amount of space and a decent amount of parking available. Inside has plenty of space and open bar area. Seating is seat yourself. You open a tab if you want to order anything, so any server can put in an order for you. They only have pizza as a choice for food, it was pretty good and enough for 2 people at only $13 so a pretty good price. 12 taps all serving Triple Crossing beers. Music was a touch loud, making it a little hard to hear. Family friendly. We'll certainly be back.

Second location. Definitely a bigger space, very nicely done. Big outdoor seating area as well as plenty of room inside. Great service. Maybe a little off the beaten path but in an area that's coming up. As with the downtown location, if you're in RVA Triple Crossing is definitely a place to check out.
