Crowler into a tulip glass. Had 1/18/18.
Pours an amber/yellow, a little cloudy, with a two inch foamy head with good retention and a fair amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of Belgian yeast, malt, cloves, other spices, rye- more as it warms. The taste also starts with Belgian yeast, then fairly strong rye, malt, cloves, other spices. A medium amount of bitterness, especially on the finish. Smooth, semi- dry, a good body, well carbonated.
A well made saison, very enjoyable. The rye is great and plentiful. Worth a try.
