This is not a Kolsch. A Kolsch is bright, clear, with yellowish color/hue. A Kolsch should be slightly bitter, not too hoppy, clean and crisp. This beer was none of these things. This beer was cloudy, almost fruity, and referred to as a "blonde ale" on the front of the can. Blonde Ales should be cleaner, a little brighter in that regard, and I guess sometimes fruity.
This beer is closer to a Hefe, and if it was actually a Hefe it wouldn't be bad. Probably a 3-3.25. But when I'm buying something labeled a Kolsch, it should adhere to the standards which make a Kolsch. And this doesn't.
This is a beer you're drinking on the beach with a lemon in it.
