Your war rig is full of guzzoline and you're already stopped at Bullet Farm. No one enters Valhalla without being made shiny and chrome. WITNESS ME! You exclaim, while dreaming of a massively hopped ale fit for the bravest of warriors. Only such a brew featuring tropical and citrus character from Amarillo, Idaho 7 and Mosaic could suffice for one who rides eternal. Hoppy enough to leave you chromed and ready for Valhalla.

Another from my brother's recent visit in Cleveland.

Poured a deep yellow with a white head. The smell was of citrus and beer. The taste was really decent.

On tap, pours a clear deep gold. Smell is floral and fruity. Taste follows with a nice bit of bitterness in the finish. Good beer.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store just around the corner. It poured a slightly hazy golden with white head that is leaving some nice lace. The scent had bitter citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bitter citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

1 PINT
Served in a stemless wine glass

This beer pours a brilliant golden color and is topped with a couple inches of eggshell head that leaves nice rings of lacing as I consume.

It has a slightly medicinal smell. I get citrus and pine.

It has a medicinal taste up front. I get citrus through the middle. Grapefruit pith and pine in the finish.

Medium bodied with an incredibly smooth mouthfeel

It's a good west coast style IPA. It is a nice change from all the hazies out there.

Surprise find in Salem OR. Lifesource natural Grocers.
$3.79
Pours a slightly hazed dull yellow with a nice frothy 2 inch white head.
Aromas..floral and unexpected dankness..not in PNW ways..but it is there...Looking at the date on the can this might be as much as 4 months old..or as low as 1 month the first numeral is unclear
Taste sweet..grapes, plum skin..then nothing..maybe some residual hop..not impressed
Mouth feel is tame..low carbonation..drying finish which for me saves the beer.
Not great....i wonder if this was old

Finally we are seeing some new things from Masthead in stores. I didn't get to the downtown site much even though it is next door to where my son works - who goes out these days. I always missed their huge stouts, which they still don't seem to make available in stores. Now we get this and a bock, I think.

It pours a clean yellow, not cloudy, with a little head. Nice IPA look. The aroma is quite good - a pronounced hoppy smell that borders on funk. The taste goes to the limit too, with mountains of hops to balance out all the malty boozy goodness. A solid DAIPA with tons of nuanced flavors - juicy.

Highly recommended. It's nice to see something new in the stores from one of my favorite Cleveland brewers.

Canned on 6/30/20. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with nice clarity with lots of bubbles racing upwards; creamy white head that falls slowly leaving great thick retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have a blend of citrus and tropical fruit. Some crackers and fresh bread. Malts are there. The aromas start off solid but quickly fade. The flavors are bold. Some pineapple, lemon, grapefruit and orange. Some pine needles along with some hints of fresh grass . Hints of caramel. Subtle spiciness. Very nice bitterness. Malts do their thing. Finishes juicy and dry at the same time. Some alcohol flavors in the finish, but it's not hot or boozy. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's very fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a pretty solid DIPA. It's bold, enjoyable and fun to drink. Masthead is great with hoppy beers, and this one is solid although it might not be my new favorite from them. It's still pretty nice. I like it.
