We are pleased to present one of our fan favorites, Jalapeño IPA, in cans for the very first time. Brewed with fresh jalapeños, the fruity notes from hand-selected American-grown hops pair well with that unmistakable aroma and flavor, all backed up with just the right level of spiciness.

Clear, golden pour and body; excellent carbonation; thick, loosely sudsy head, lasting; decent amount of partial rings and flecks of foam inside the glass. Strong and pleasant chili pepper note; mildly sinus clearing. Fantastic chili beer taste; bold jalapeño taste; outstanding malt grain backbone. Medium bodied; fine dose of chili pepper heat riding atop a velvety malt base.
I love chili pepper beers and was surprised to discover this one from Ohio. Above all, balanced flavors are key but with a nod to a solid chili pepper flavor. Also getting a lasting head on a chili pepper beer can be a challenge for some breweries (something about the pepper oils, I believe). This beer delivers the chili beer goods. Bold and lively without being overpowering.

Pours a beautiful shade of golden straw. Scents and flavors are in harmony and there is unity between the bountiful jalapeno flavors and WC hop notes. Make no mistake, this is a very jalapeno forward brew but does not get overly hot as they must have used a mild version. Coats the palate nicely with tingly spicy hop tang. Quite drinkable. I'd buy this regularly if the geography allowed

Pours a semi clear burnt orange. Jalapeño is obvious in the aroma and in the froth. Upon the tongue, heat that descends into a fruited pepper profile. The taste is muddled, but intriguing. Heat builds with each sip. You feel this one all the way down. Definitely not a beer in the rotation, but worth a revisit every now and again.

16oz can, canned on 04/05/23 13:15. Served in a Duvel tulip glass.
Appearance: Clear gold with a thick white head. Strands and sheets of persistent lacing.
Smell: Initially, just some piney hops with the pour, but later as it warms up a bit the Jalepeno pepper shows up as well.
Taste: A bit one dimensional with the Jalepeno dominating. Some underlying cracker-like malt, and I'm not getting much hops at all - maybe a tiny bit of something piney and bitter, but the pepper is the main flavor.
Mouthfeel: Definitely spicy and it lingers more and more as I finish the glass. Okay thickness, but a little on the thin side. Light carbonation.
Overall / Drinkability: Not sure what makes this an IPA, I'd classify it more as an APA. Interesting, but I think it needs to be in a smaller serving size. I couldn't finish it because the heat was building up and wiping out all other flavors. One is enough.

Looks like turbid shit
Smells amazing to my nose but I also dump hot sauce in hoppy beers because I miss habernero sculpin.
Taste is the best pepper beer ive ever had. This isn't for many if even a few but those that do appreciate a pepper/spicy hoppy beer this is likely the best you'll find. Heat level is extremely HIGH compared to most pepper beers. Still, a trivial amount of spice. It's not even as spicy as an average MILD hot wing.
Feel is fine.
Overall hands down the best pepper beer ive ever had.

Really appreciated this draft from Archers in Centerville OH. Don’t care for gimmick beers, but this is a good one. Not just generic heat, but very fresh green pepper dominates, with enough spice to keep it interesting. Base IPA is better than most, simple, lets the pepper shine. I’ll get a second.

Ok, definitely got the Jelapena in this one .... A couple beads of sweat on the brow is weird while drinking an icy cold IPA .... Some folks I drank this with did not care for it....for me, not really my bag....but certainly interesting
