Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 6.90%

Availability: Rotating

Notes / Commercial Description:
Consider yourself lucky that you are holding one of our New England IPAs, because it's the only style that we can brew. We reached out to our brewing friends on the Brewers' Net, which is like the Darknet, but for brewers, to scare up some of the choicest hops money can buy: Australian Galaxy and Australian Vic Secret. Hugely tropical with notes of passionfruit, guava, and mango, these high oil content hops are truly a treat

Appearance: Pours cloudy and honey colored with a bit of a bubble show; good retention and a nice curtain of lace

Smell: Passionfruit, pineapple and mango

Taste: Passionfruit forward, with the pineapple and mango tones adding a touch of sweetness; dank, with pithy bitterness, in the middle, with the passionfruit lingering in the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: One of the better NEIPAs I have tasted recently; has a nice, moderately bitter finish

Thanks, N-Gogol, for the opportunity

I'm having this latest #hazebro IPA on draft at Fat Head's--how cool is that?

Appearance is opaque corn yellow with a bubbly uniform thick white comforter on top.

Smell is dank onion, garlic, burnt rubber, lemon and orange. As it comes to temp, mint, Smarties and a little veg arise.

Taste is spicy dank weed and burnt rubber with cracked wheat, toasty cracker, and an orange-lemon-mango blend.

Full of body, velvety carbonation, but very dry on the swallow.

This is a New England IPA (as noted on the can), which is a style that is not able to be chosen when adding beers. The NEIPA is not going away, much to the chagrin of "purists" who look down upon the cloudy, opaque offerings.

16oz can purchased at the brewery today during their one year anniversary event.

Yellow, cloudy, opaque elixir poured into DFH chalice yields a thick, white head which dissipates to a 2-3mm rim of foam. Thick lacing everywhere.

Great aromas of tropical fruits explode from the vessel. Mango, grape fruit, pineapple and pith.

The taste follows with a smooth hop bitterness, a bit of pine and a clean, dry finish.

Medium body, zesty, refreshing.

A very well done representation of the style.
