Poured from a pint can, the body puts a faded, hazy gold. Good size fluffy white head and good lacing.
Aroma is a delightful waft of Nelson hop. Reminiscent of a Sauvignon blanc.
Taste follows nose as the Nelson is in the foreground. A light bitterness is met with a slight malt backbone, which balances nicely. Finish dries quickly but there is a brief bitterness. No sign of ABV.
Mouthfeel is lively but light with good carbonation.

16 FL OZ can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass
It pours like pineapple juice as is customary for the New England style of IPA. It is topped with an inch of beige head that leaves very little spotty lacing. The aroma is tropical fruit along with white grape smell. The taste is more bitter than expected from the smell. Upfront it is fruity tasting. On the back end and into the finish I get bitter pine with a bit of a linger in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is pretty full bodied. This is more bitter than I am used to for the style, but my close proximity to Hoof Hearted has me used to drinking fruit smoothies. This is an enjoyable beer and probably more true to NEIPA style as I understand it. Anyway you look at it, it is a great beer for a hazy Sunday.
