Hot off the press is Extra! Extra!, one of our favorite Double New England IPAs. This beer was double dry hopped with some of our favorite American hop varieties to push the flavor and aroma over the top.

CANNED ON 05/20/25. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Glowing bright pale yellow with 1-2 finger white frothy head with good retention and copious lacing.
S: Aroma is moderate-intensity with white grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, and lemongrass herbal notes provide some dank counterpoint. Esters are light-medium with fruity tones.
T: Flavor is moderate-to-high intensity with blasts of citrus fruit including orange, tangerine, white grapefruit, and lime with some peach and herbal honeysuckle in the finish. Esters are light and fruity and do not compete with the hop character but rather enhance it. Bitterness is low.
M: Feel is on the money for style with medium body, moderate carbonation, and full finish.
O: Masthead Extra! Extra! Is an excellent version of the NEIPA style.

This is definitely better than Juicy Bits by Weldwerks which has gone downhill anyways, this is what I remeber that one tasting like the very first time I had it. Anyways great full bodied hazy with great hop and citrus flavor. Really like this one

Pours pale, cloudy yellow with a small head of foam. A smell of citrus and pine permeate the air. A taste reveals a satisfying pineapple and grapefruit profile, though to me more of grapefruit than anything else. While not punchy, it does provide a crisp, solid IPA flavor that doesn't deviate from aroma to the back of the throat. A worthy beer.

L: On the white and chalky side of a pineapple juice hue. An ivory finger of foam, average retention and some splotches of lace.
S: Fantastic west-coaster. Big pine resin with equal parts of citrus - mostly grapefruit. Ahhh. Some minor and fleeting notes of strawberry, mango, and green onion.
T: Better than it smells even. Well balanced pine and citrus - that great stark bitterness I miss with many IPAs.
F: Just right medium body and carbonation. Nothing overbearing or overdone. A touch sweet to balance the bitters, but finishes drier.
O: Why oh why did I only order one. This beer is really top notch in execution and I think still underrated!
