This hazy pale ale is perfect for spring. Bursting with notes of citrus and stone fruit, this beer has just enough bitterness, hop flavor and aroma to keep it quaffable.

Look: Clear golden yellow with plenty of head that slowly dissipates to a foam car. Visible lacing, visible fast rising carbonation.
Smell: Pineapple, tangerine and toasty biscuity caramel malt.
Taste: Sweet on the tip of the tongue, sweet and bitter across the tongue and then bitter in the back.
Flavor: Pineapple and tangerine are most noticeable, under that some floral and stone fruit. As it approaches room temperature, maybe a bit of juniper.
Feel: A little bit of a zing if you hold it against the tip of your tongue. A full mouthfeel with light carbonation and a dry finish. It doesn't feel coarse but it still feels prickly.
Overall: This my second of the 4-pack. I’m glad I waited. The first one, for some reason, didn’t impress me. When I take my time, from the initial impression to when it is warm (60+ to room temp), there is a lot more depth and complexity. So many fruits are blended together, and each sip can yield a different facet of this gem. Maybe it needs warmer temperatures. I’ll modify this if the next two yield a different experience.

Hahahahaha ... I just noticed that this is in a category I have never knowingly thought about. When I look at the other beers listed under the category American Pale Wheat, this is as good or better than all the ones I see so I am revising my initial impression numbers higher.

I got a 4pck of this beer from my local beer store just around the corner. It poured a slightly hazy yellow with white head that is leaving a nice lace. The scent had tropical fruit peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical fruit peel presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

CANNED ON 04/13/20 11:03 TIRE SWING
Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint

A: Barely hazy gold with 2-finger white frothy head with great retention and scraps of lacing. Lots of floaties are a downgrade.

S: Aroma is exceptional with peach, mango, mint, grassiness, grapefruit, lime and a decent pale malt graininess.

T: Flavor is a slight step back mainly for less intensity than the aroma, but the variety of the hop flavors is excellent with peach, mango, grassy-herbal, and grapefruit with a minor light caramel sweetness in the finish. Low bitterness and no alcohol flavor. Esters are medium-high and fruity without being over the top.

M: Very smooth and drinkable with low-medium carbonation and medium body with a light tackiness in the finish.

O: I enjoyed TIre Swing a lot — excellent pale ale although the haziness is debatable.

Can courtesy of BigTimeADL.
About 1 month old
Copper with slight haze and fairly minimal head.
Smell: tangerine, grapefruit, pine, little dank. Stone fruit dominates as it warms.
Taste: malty sweetness, biscuity, grapefruit, orange, stone fruit. Pine, grassy bitter finish.
Feel: medium slick and dry.
Overall: A good refreshing pale ale. Label states hazy, but appearance and taste state west coast or classic style.
