SImcoe is a big part of a lot of my favorite beers. I thought this might have come out even better than Citra but it didn't quite for me. Still great though.

Hazy dark orange with a thin, bubbly white blanket.
Smell is peppery, spicy dank grapefruit and sweaty peach with accents of pine.
Taste starts with an unusual note of grape before pine, pepper, and grapefruit. Dank peach brings up the rear with accents of strawberry, Smarties and bitter bark.
A nice firm froth runs through a moderate body with a paper dry finish.

Poured into a tulip at the brewery
A: Hazy yellow/light orange with a one-finger head
S: A bit dank, tropical fruit/dried flower petals, orange peel
T: Matches the nose
M: Medium-bodied, bitter
O: A solid showcase for the hops, a well-made beer

4-pack of 16oz cans purchased at brewery release, 7/14/2018, for $17.99.
Hazy, dull straw-yellow colored elixir poured into DFH chalice yields a slightly off-white, thick head that shrinks to a 3mm rim. Thick ribbons of lacing from top to bottom.
This is a single hop brew and the usual Simcoe profile of floral, pine, spice and earth is present in spades.
The taste follows the aroma but the sharp edges of the pine and spice are melded nicely with the oats, producing an IPA that balances the pine, spice and earth with a floral, passion fruit finish with a lingering, smooth bitterness.
Medium body, well carbed.
Masthead has this NEIPA style down. A real nice representation of the Simcoe profile in an easy drinking IPA.
