I was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. Still not my favorite among some of the excellent beers that Masthead makes but they really did do a good job with it.

A firm, thick off-white blanket curves up in clinging ridges and mounds over an opaque burnt amber body.
Smell is semi-dank orange, candy and a hint of biscuit.
Taste is peach-orange juice with a little toast and lightly bitter wood.
The medium body has a soft, mildly filling froth, finishing chewy dry.

Poured into a tulip at the brewery
A: Light brown yet with a dark pink hue; thin head
S: Hibiscus, tangerine, light malt
T: Some hibiscus, some malt, very generic hops
M: Medium-bodied, a touch sweet
O: I normally love hibiscus, maybe this is already a bit old but overall one of the least impressive Masthead beers I’ve had
