I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store just around the corner. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had dank fruit peel spice notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink dank tropical fruit peel spice presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

This brew is in a tough category - all New England IPAs tend to be good and many are great. Well, here's another great one. I am a Masthead fan, so I expect good things.

It pours bright yellow with nice fine bubbles. The aroma is strikingly alluring - it makes you want to dig in, knowing it's a big, dry, hopping thing you are going to drink. The taste does not disappoint, it delivers that big dry taste and the whole thing finishes very cleanly. Tough to sip - you want to gulp.

Highly recommended. A bit pricey, but worth it. A nice treat. This one is 33 days old.

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 4/7/20, so a month old.

Standard hazy dull orange juice body. Small white head dissipates to a ring and faint covering. A little lacing initially.

Slightly earthy dank aroma.

There is a little citrus, but it's initially buried under the dank barnyard flavor. It's not an unpleasant drink, just not a great one. As it warms though, the bitterness floats above the other flavors, improving the drink.

Mouth close to full, finish warm and a touch veggie.

All in all, the hop and flavor profiles didn't sit too well on this tongue. Was hoping for a heavier citrus and a little less dankness. As it warmed and the bitterness came though, it was more enjoyable.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint size tulip glass. Pours a very hazy dark straw with a minimal thick white head that dissipates quickly leaving some lacing.

Nose is dank pineapple. Taste on the front is a slight sweet pineapple and tropical fruits. Finishes strong, a bit dry, definite mouth coating quality.

Overall a very strong, deep taste. I like this one a lot.

16 oz can poured into a Lagunitas mason jar.

Very hazy pineapple juice. 2 finger head that leaves sticky lacing around the rim of the glass.

Big pop of white grapefruit and pineapple on the nose. Very juicy and inviting.

Palate follows the nose with an explosion of citrus. Finishes with a slightly pithy bitterness. Semi-dry and clean. Zero booziness detected.

Mouthfeel is nice and soft but not creamy. Drinks easy and smooth.

Wow, very impressed with this one. Super drinkable and just plain delicious. So glad I grabbed a 4 pack instead of a single. Highly recommended if you like less sweet NEIPAs.

16 FL. OZ. can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass

This beer pours like pineapple juice. It is yellow and hazy. It is topped with a couple inches of beige head that leaves some nice lacing.

The smell is a cornucopia of citrus and tropical fruit.

The flavor of tropical fruit explodes in my eager mouth. I get some citrus in the back end.

Medium bodied and mouthfeel

I have had very few beers from Mast Head, but the few have been very good. I may have to make a trip there once the arctic thaw occurs.

Opaque tan-yellow with a thin film and bubbly thin collar.

Smell is dank cannabis and peach.

Taste is dank, spicy and peppery with a bit of burnt rubber and grapefruit, as a sharp acidic green bite tickles the throat the longer you sit with it. There's like no malt detectable, but at the same time it's really nailing the sub style.

Mild body, soft froth, semi-dry swallow.
