This is a special, one-off, brewed once only, beer by several different breweries for the kickoff of Cleveland Beer Week.
While it was brewed at Masthead's location, it is a collaboration beer between Masthead Brewing Company, Avon Brewing Company, Boss Dog Brewing Company, Forest City Brewery, and Working Class Brewery. All 5 of these are Cleveland area breweries of course. Having this on-tap at Platform Brewing Company. Served in a pint glass, this beer draws a very dark brown, almost black color that has no interest in letting in any light whatsoever. Has a tan/light brown, chocolaty looking head that’s about an inch thick when first drawn and served that settles eventually to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass, along with tons of lacing and a good, thick film layer of surface foam. Aromas of roasted caramel malt sweetness along with some definite chocolate notes and a hint of chili pepper spice. The taste follows suite, with roasted malts with hints of caramel sweetness, strong milk chocolate notes, and a nice hint of chili pepper spice. Just a hint of some earthy hop notes out this excellent flavor profile. Has a slightly crisp, mostly smooth and frothy, lightly creamy, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish, and a slightly sweet, lactic and spicy aftertaste that likes to linger on the palate for awhile after each sip. A damn good beer here.

They definitely nailed the Mexican hot chocolate flavors. Unfortunately I did not read the description before ordering and I do not like Mexican hot chocolate that much.
L: Beautiful opaque dark
S: cinnamon and nutmeg aromas blast you in the face and they do smell pretty good
T: not a big fan of the cinnamon taste. The flavors were bold. The cinnamon really shined but takes away from it for my personal tastes.
F: smooth, silky
O: solid beer, pull the cinnamon out and I would probably really like it.
