Masthead Mike was practicing his karate moves when the overnight shipment of Mosaic came in from Yakima, and he roundhouse kicked them right into this beer.

1 PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours a dull orange color and turbid. It is topped with an inch of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
The smell is tropical fruit with melon and a slight medicinal aroma.
I get tropical fruit up front. Then I get some grapefruit and eucalyptus. It has a mild bitterness in the finish.
Medium bodied and mouthfeel
This is a tasty hazy IPA. Masthead makes some good stuff.

Hazy but not fully opaque straw yellow with a thick fluffy white head settling to a thin but convex blanket and a curling white collar.
Smell is dankly cannabic with orange, grapefruit and lemon rind. It's spicy and peppery with a touch of peachy biscuit.
Taste is garlicky mint, but lightly so, with tangy orange and lightly toasted cracker delivered via a smooth, soft carbonation making for a fulfilling medium body before a cotton dry finish. I also get notes of PEZ and lime.

L: pale and hazy
S: sweet citrus aromas
T: grapefruit with a perfect bitterness balance. sweet malt flavors as well
F: perfect amount of bite
O: another killer from Masthead. Had it fresh from the tap on release day and having it now 24 hours later from the can. It is a little more bitter than some of the other hits I have liked from Masthead but it has not gone too far.
