Not as good as the original. I didn’t think the pineapple would change it so much but it definitely made a material change that wasn’t entirely positive for me. Still top notch but just not quite right compared to the original.
Update:
Had my last can about two months after release. I often hear about some Masthead cans conditioning well in the can after release. This rang true for me on this. Didn't catapult over a bunch of other beers but I could actually taste the pineapple now. Before I couldn't pick it out but it was a nice touch here. The time really seemed to smooth something out about this year and add more balance.
