Beautifully shimmering dark amber with a slightly puffy khaki head of thorough density and moderate height.

This starts with a tangy then toasty waxy chestnut and hint of pear before a leafy, brown crackery finish that's herbally semi-bitter and semi-dry.

Canned on 4/21/20. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with great clarity and transparency with lots of bubbles racing upwards; fluffy and chunky white head that falls very slowly leaving huge thick retention and sticky frothy lacing. The aromas are basically what you would expect from the style, more or less. Lots of grains, toast and fresh bread. Hints of caramel. Mild and subtle hints of vanilla. Malts are there. The flavors are clean, crisp and refreshing. Lots of toasted characteristics leading the way. More grains and fresh bread along with some crackers. More hints of caramel along with some toffee. The mildest hint of citrus. Some fresh grass in the mix. Some earthy characteristics. Solid bitterness going on, but nothing over the top. Solid malt backbone. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed for the most part. Mouthfeel is nice. It's light to medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a really nice Vienna Lager. It stays true to the style and the craftsmanship is on point. They did a really nice job with this one. Well done.
