Having this beer on-tap at the brewery, this beer draws a somewhat cloudy/hazy light golden color with some streams of little bubbles fairly rapidly and continuously rising to the beer’s surface along with a white head that’s about an inch thick when first drawn and served. Settles to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass. Not much lacing. Aromas of some biscuity malts and wheat along with some pomegranate and some slight funk and sour notes. A very similar flavor profile here, with me biscuity malts and wheat followed by pomegranate and some funk and sour notes. Just the right amount of sour and funk here. Not really much, if any, discernible hop present. Has a crisp, smooth, light to medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Easy to drink int eh way good beer out to be. Has a clean finish with a nice wheaty and slightly sour aftertaste. A very refreshing beer on this pretty hot summer afternoon here in Cleveland.
