Another beer from the mixed box of beer from this brewery in Ohio.
Poured out into my clear pint glass. The color was a golden color with a white head. The smell was of maybe lemon, malt, and some other mix of citrus. Overall, not that bad of a drink.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at The Daily Growler in Powell, Ohio as part of a six sample flight. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bitter citrus and pine resin presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

1 PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours a brilliant golden hue. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
Dank and earthy. I get a light medicinal aroma. Some citrus
Dank and citrus flavor. Some resin, but it does not linger.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
Solid west coast IPA.

My favorite Mastheads are the huge stouts they don't usually can, but they have released great brews in lots of styles. This is a great big AIPA, something they know how to do right.
It pours pretty deep golden with just a touch of haze. Lots of nice lacing. The aroma is a nice skunky hops smell. The taste is fairly big and bitter with a boozy malty finish. Well done and extremely fresh (8 days).
Recommended. I had a similar but slightly smaller AIPA earlier today that did the same job as this one with a little less malt. I think I slightly preferred it, but its great that i could have both!

Canned on 12/30/21. 16oz can poured into a tulip.
Pours golden with solid clarity and transparency; small white head that fades leaving decent okay retention and nice lacing.
The aromas have some hints of citrus along with some crackers. Malts are there.
The flavors have a nice amount of citrus leading the way, especially orange and grapefruit. Some lemon coming through as well. Hints of pineapple in the mix. Lots of fresh grass. Some pine. More crackers along with some hints of caramel. Solid bitterness. Subtle sweetness. Malts do their thing. Finishes dry. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed.
Mouthfeel is full-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, slick, smooth and slightly fluffy.
This is a pretty solid DIPA. It's on the classic and traditional side of the style, but in a good way. The craftsmanship is on point and takes this one to the next level. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. Well done.
